Hurray! The Kaiser is finally updating the club site! What can I say except that I am a busy Kaiser! For those of you who aren't currently subscribed to our old club's snail mail magazine , you may be a bit behind on information of our recent club activities. But we have more good news! The DINOSAUR PRINCE translations have been completed up to chapter twelve so far!
Our other upcoming translation projects may take a while longer to complete but hopefully we'll start seeing something by early next year. Like MISSION OUTERSPACE : SRUNGLE .
Goshogun has already been done. Yamato and Starblazers fans , If you haven't yet tried the new english remix translation of QUEEN MILLENNIA , I highly recommend it. Although we are still looking for newer Japanese copies to make an upgrade in the future. We'd like to do the same with Captain Harlock as well eventually.
I know a few members may be opposed to reediting the old translation from the 80's , although I think of it as still an improvement over the original version like in the case with GATCHAMAN. If you enjoyed the restorations of other classics like ULTRAMAN , SPACE GIANTS and so on which were done by others then you will likely be interested in the newer reedited version of QUEEN MILLENNIA. But for those of you out there who prefer no english versions at all , there are now also the sub versions. Hopefully those who are doing this will complete the entire series.
Sadly the original 80's butchered english translation actually skipped the last several chapters of the original Japanese series. This is a shame. Like many STARBLAZER fans from back then , many wish QUEEN MILLENNIA and CAPTAIN HARLOCK were translated correctly and shown separately. The new reedited versions will likely attempt to restore that which was lost in the translations and make a more accurately told story for fans to enjoy.
Speaking of old stuff , from Hawaii , for fellow Sentai lovers out there who are still looking for the original STAR RANGERS in english we now have the club upgrades available to all members, but #12 is still incomplete as it came that way from our source. If anyone has that complete or any of the LUCKY ACES / JAKQ translation please contact me. We're also trying to find out more about a anime version of DENZIMAN that came out before Space Thunder Kids if anyone knows anymore about that.
Kaiser's Collectibles will soon open a new location too for those of you who prefer to stop by and shop , starting early next year. Our old location specialized more in Superheroes , comics and toys, etc., but our new shop may have a larger assortment of games.
Another title we have been attempting to locate but have had no success so far is what appears to be some sort of non Japanese action version of TOBIKAGE . If anyone has any information on this , please let me know. I think it is called " SUPER FLY DRAGON ". It appears to be another Asian feature made like " SUPER BATMAN MAZINGER V " was , with both action and anime mixed together. Only the TOBIKAGE dragon appears to be piloted by some Chinese kid in a costume that looks something like something from LIGHTSPEED ESPER! The recent pictures we came across were really amazing. This may turn out to be another outrageous feature like 3 DEV ADAM . Some of the features that were made in Europe back in the 70's were really hilarious. It's a shame they are so hard to find. But that's what our club is here for. For recovering rare and lost classics from the past like this. Sadly some anime do become lost over the decades as we've recently learned that the 1960's Tezuka anime called BIG X is now available but apparently some of it has become lost. Anyone know why this is? Was it ever translated into any other language?
BTW for those of you who have had a chance to see the showing of CHINA CRY recently on TBN ,there was another really interesting Asian related feature that they have recently shown on TBN and may show again as they often do. It was called "The Inn of the 6th Happiness". It's about what happened during World War 2 but unlike most WW2 stories it instead focuses more so on the war between Japan and China. And not like as it is some times depicted in some old Kung Fu features from the 70's. Just like CHINA CRY this is based upon true life events and is a much more accurate depiction of what life was like in Asia in the 40's. It's in english but has mainly just Asians along with a few British in part of it. Anyway you may wanna check it out. It was pretty good. Check TBN's listings regularly to find out when it may be shown again. Or you may want to try their web site for buying it. They do sometimes offer China Cry as I recall.
Well anyway remember to keep our soldiers in your prayers. I know a few older members in our club may have been in the military years ago so they may be over there now. If anyone knows any anime fans stuck over there now, have them get in touch with me and maybe we can help them out! The Good Lord has really blessed this once great country by defending us since 9/11. Thank God for that!
And don't forget anime fans, through TBN and CBN , anime has even gotten shown in countries over there and other places we never thought posible back in the 1980's. TONDERA HOUSE along with PASOCON TRAVEL TANDEIDAN and PASTCON TRAVEL DETECTIVE TEAM have been now shown in well over 50 countries! Thank God for that!
This along with other anime like maybe " IN THE BEGINING " which was Ozama Tezuka's last anime series before he left us. Like many anime fans we pray he too was saved when he worked with those in the Vatican on that project back in the 1980's.
Well that's it for now. I'll try to get more news out here for those of you online in the future. Otherwise I recomend getting our club's magazine in the future for more of our latest news and reviews. Hollywood RUINS Transformers?
Well the new Transformers are now out on DVD and it's certainly not selling well like most of the "super hero titles" usually do.
Last summer's new attempt to make Transformers into a action title rather than traditional anime appeared to serriously backfire when Hasbro let the dopes in "Hollywood land" try to call all the shots. Face facts, Speilburg and his Hollywood bunch were never a real Transfans and knew almost nothing about Transformers to start with. And it really shows.
It's just more proof that Hasbro shouldn't call any of the shots anymore when making Transformers for any screen. Let our Japanese friends at Takara and so on do it right. They rarely mess up. Hasbro after that sad attempt for a new action movie last summer appears to have lost all form of self respect or any for their audience as well for that matter to say the least!
Japanese animators know how to make good character designs. Hasbro doesn't. The characters in the action movie all looked like a jumbled chewed up mess of parts when they transformed if you were able to even identify them apart. Most Transfans I think wanted to see their favorite characters again from the 1980's on the big screen. Instead they just got some kind of "Generation 3 Action Master Nightmare" you could say.
TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED ... not ANIME
And now there's the new animated series coming to Cartoon Network next year that has many fans upset to say the least,

I suspect Hasbro's real agenda with this new "Animated" series of "human looking Transformers" is just an attempt to sell more action figures that don't transform. Saves them a buck or two to say the least. Hasbro appears to have been blinded with greed much like too many of our greedy corporate giants of today. They show a very large lack of respect for their customers and dishonor them. The Japanese and Takara never appear to have this bad a problem.
The good news however fellow Transfans is that we can use this as an opportunity to finally quit collecting these newer toys and just focus on the classics from the past if even that. After collecting nearly everything for over 20 years this new movie and tv series has given me that much more of a reason to finally quit.
And I must say, I have no regrets!
Many other older Transfans have also said that they no longer plan to collect the newer junk but just the "more mature" releases like the Alternators if they ever make any more in the future. So do yourself a favor and save maybe a few hundred bucks a year! Don't waste any time collecting this newer junk! It's no longer really a matter of ,
"More than meets the eye"
but rather we should say it's ,
"Less than you really paid for"
to say the least! Especially when you consider how most of the new toys are made.
Hasbro an American Company???
Hasbro is suppose to be an American company but ask yourself, when was the last time you saw any that were ,
"Made in the U.S.A."
Hasbro certainly is not patriotic nor are they helping any with creating any new jobs for fellow Americans. Instead they continue to mistreat the Asians in poor nations in places where many make less than 30 cents a day! And how often have they ever passed any of those savings along to the customers?
Face facts they're a bunch of greedy corprate giants that should no longer be allowed to get away with what they have been doing for over 20 years! Maybe now would be a good time for limiting how much merchandise is imported into America and focus more on making it here in our own country.
This nation needs more jobs. Our politicians shouldn't continue to allow merchandise to be imported from outside sources any longer. Whatever happened to true patriotism? Now too many in positions of power appear to only want to satisfy their greed rather than ever helping their neighbors.
But you know folks, this too can change!
Hollywood Dishonors America Again!
In America, our Founding Fathers focused on true moral values that set a positive example to others by letting our focus be on more important issues such as behaving well like respectible ladies and gentlemen rather than letting our focus always be on self and greed.
Hasbro and Hollywood really disgusted me with last summer's new movie with just how they portrayed the traditional American family and our modern day culture.
If that is what Hasbro and the Hollywood bunch really think of our modern day society and it's set of values then perhaps we should serriously reconsider how much importance we place on them and their ideas any longer!
Such a blantant lack of respect shown towards the American civilization in such a dishonorable way leads one to see why so many have turned away from Hollywood's ilk in recent years and have begun looking for more respectible titles from better sources.
Hollywood certainly is not the only source for entertainment on the planet.
And it's becoming more and more clear now to many that,
Hollywood certainly is not the best either!
Equal Airtime Access?
There are plenty of other sources for good quality entertainment from around the world but sadly here in the U.S. the tv networks all too often discriminate against them and never allow them equal airtime access. A problem most other nations don't appear to have.
Case in point, you can go to Japan or other countries and find Hollywood programs on primetime but you never find programs imported from Japan or other countries into the U.S. and shown on primetime tv networks. This despite the fact that we now have easily a several hundred different networks, probably thousands!
About the only time you'll ever see any programs imported are only with childrens shows and often as in the case with action programing it normally gets modified like we have seen happen with the Power Rangers and so on. So where does this form of racism end?
Quite possibly with the Internet!
Computers Can Help Stop Racism?
In the future the Internet could very well help that much more with breaking down those racial barriers and so on and we have already begun see happen. And with computer animation taking on new levels now, how long will it be untill the translator can just dub over the mouth movements with matching computer animation to match the talking?
The real question however may be still a question of just how well receptive will some of America's tv network's be with programing like that? Even if they have an opportunity to get more quality made programs like from Asia, will they be treated as equal with their Hollywood idols or will imported programing still be considered something aimed mainly at kids if even that?
These are more matters we should try to work on in the future to help make a better future for everyone!

MAKE FRIENDS IN ASIA!
Ever wish you had more Asian friends or could make new friends in other parts of the world like Asia? Now you too can become that much more of a blessing to others by sharing the love of Christ with our brothers and sisters in Asia and other parts of the world too! Yes, you too can now easily make new friends in far off places of the world, including Asia! No real cost involved either except for paying for a postage stamp. There are many brothers and sisters now who are looking for Christian friends to give them encouragement for their lives because of where they are.
We have to remember folks that we should be grateful to our Lord and Savior for blessing us so much to be able to live in such a wonderful nation like where we are! Not everyone in the world has such a wonderful life. Folks in places like Asia often have it a lot rougher than we do and need to be reminded that there is hope at the cross of Jesus our Lord! What better way to make new friends by sharing the love of Christ with one another and praying for one another! Asian folks are wonderful people who are no different than any of us. Now we have an opportunity to not only write to folks in Asia but to many other parts of the world too!
Sadly in some of those countries there are still those who choose to live a life filled with hatred and intolerance shown towards their Christian neighbors. Muslim extremists and other radicals are often a very hostile and cruel people dedicated to killing and raping innocent people who refuse to convert to Islam and deny Christ as Lord. In many places Christians are unfairly treated and imprisoned for their faith in Christ! It is terrible! But we can remind them that their is hope! Many have already been released, thank God! Your prayers and letters can also help!
Now you too can also write to our Christian brothers and sisters in other parts of the world by helping with,

By writing to our fellow Christian brothers and sisters in Christ you are entering into the vital and important ministry of intercession and solidarity with those who suffer for their faith in Christ. As an advocate for our brothers and sisters in chains you will be encouraging them when you write to them in prison and supporting them when you write to officials on their behalf.
Your involvement testifies of the love and unity found among followers of Jesus Christ throughout the world. It is a witness to both them and to the authorities you write to or who may censor letters intended for them. Your involvement is evidence to our persecuted family that they are not forgotten.
Often the oppressors have tried to brainwash these Christians into believing that they are forgotten, that they are not loved and that no one knows about them. Through this isolation and loneliness the devil may prey upon their faith. When a prisoner learns others are protesting on their behalf or when they receive your letter, they know that someone cares!
Your involvement can result in better treatment for a prisoner. The authorities in many nations are very sensitive about their image abroad. When they realize that outsiders are monitoring a prisoner’s situation, conditions may be improved. For this we have a scriptural mandate. Read and pray through the following verses, which will help you understand the role you are undertaking. This is no doubt front line spiritual warfare and you will also need to pray through all your thinking and letter writing.

They will even help you to communicate to the folks that you will be writing to, who may not speak English by translating a letter for you! This will also give you a free chance to learn more Asian or other languages! You will be able to send encouraging letters in the the prisoner's native tongue by using their translating computer!
We encourage you to also write a few simple lines in English. The folks you write to or one of their friends may be able to understand it.
Remember Please to Be Polite. You are representing Jesus Christ our Lord. State your general concern for persecuted believers and DO NOT write about politics or the government. We DO NOT encourage individuals to send money! Just remember folks our dear brothers and sisters may not be able to write back to you. Because for many families in these restricted lands, the cost of sending a letter back to you may be equal to a day’s wage!
Your letters are significant! They are a quiet and loving gift to your brothers and sisters. You will rejoice together when we meet in Heaven. Never mention the name of the source of your information or the name of any organization such as Voice of the Martyrs or Prisoner Alert, etc. It is not dangerous for a them to receive letters from individuals, but if an organization is mentioned they may be accused of links with ‘foreign organizations’ and receive harsher sentences. So please write responsibly, our Lord will be watching you.
